A Mountaintop wedding in Rust & Sage

Kaylie & Gerrit planned a mountaintop ceremony and rustic-chic reception at Meadowlark Ski Lodge for their August wedding in the Big Horn Mountains.

The groom wore a three-piece charcoal suit and paisley sage-green tie while the ladies wore an assortment of dresses from David’s Bridal in Dusty Sage. The bride found her stunning Essense of Australia gown at Dora Grace Bridal and looked absolutely incredible in the graphic lace.

Buffalo, WY-based wedding Dani Jerry Photography captured the day and all the magical details. As a florist, it always makes my heart happy to see the flowers we dreamed of with clients captured in all their glory and edited in true-to-life colors.

Kaylie wanted her bouquet to feel rustic and warm, reflecting the natural beauty of our Big Horn Mountains and the wildness of Wyoming. I used a variety of eucaluptus and grevelia, bronze amaranth, finely textured calycinia, Sweet William, toffee roses, and fragrant tuberose for her bouquet.

For their reception, they utilized our bulk, DIY greenery for simple faux garland on the long tables at the lodge. Paired with rust table runners, simple pillar candles, and antlers they had the perfect look for their reception and stayed within their budget for decor.

Their wedding venue in the Big Horn Mountains came with gorgeous farm tables and rustic chairs in addition to the striking views at Meadowlark Ski Lodge. You can choose between a mountaintop ceremony with stunning vistas of the Big Horn Mountains, Lakeside beauty or the lovely deck for your ceremony.

Congratulations!

Wildflowers in June

After meeting and falling in love while working at the HF Bar Ranch, these lovebirds planned a laidback, boho-western destination wedding near Sheridan, WY from their home in Oregon.

Their intimate ceremony took place at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan, WY followed by a reception at the Barn in Big Horn.

The bridal party wore sage green dresses and slate grey coats with blue jeans for the wedding. Inspired by the natural beauty of Wyoming wildflowers, we planned wild bouquets with vivid color and lots of texture were perfect July wedding colors.

Sarah is a talented leather artist and made her own custom bouquet wrap featuring her favorite flowers and initials. It was the perfect finish for her wildflower-inspired bouquet.

While her bouquet was inspired but the natural beauty of Wyoming wildflowers, we aren’t able to use actual wildflowers. Instead, we use this vision to influence our flower choices like asters, campanula, sweet-william, queen anne’s lace, rosemary, Craspedia, and grasses. A mountaintop wedding in green

Bride and groom overlooking a mountaintop lake for a destination wedding at Meadowlark Lake in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming

These lovebirds planned a mountaintop ceremony at Meadowlark Ski Lodge in August. They were gifted with a gloriously sunny, bluebird day (without wildfire smoke!) surrounded by their friends and loved ones.

Jewel wanted a bouquet that had a woodsy feel, full of ferns, succulents, lots of texture, and a calming feel. I used rosemary, a giant large tillandsia xerographica air plant, and silvery protea along with eucalyptus and delicate white orchids to go with her theme of dark green and silver for their August wedding colors.

They used our customizable tiny wedding packages for their wedding, splurging on the bouquet of her dreams, a boutonniere for the groom, and a special arrangement for their reception in the lodge.

A boho wedding at the Brinton Museum

August Boho Wedding

Look no further if you’re inspired by Romantic, Boho, and Semi-Formal vibes in neutral, taupe shades and soft mauve tones.

The ladies wore mixed dresses from Revelry in styles & colors of their choosing. The men wore simple white shirts and mauve ties.

Their August wedding at the Brinton Museum was full of details crafted by family and friends and Captured by For the West & Wild Photography

The talented Dan Lee created a custom, hand-drawn welcome sign for their wedding. A boho rug in taupe tones anchored their ceremony spot under the towering trees on the lawn. A single, triangle-shaped mountain arch with two floral pieces set the stage for “I do’s” and was a great photo backdrop.

Everyone loves a good dog at a wedding.

Amanda from Manny Cakes brought the sweets, including a gorgeous cake with gold leaf, flowers, and assorted cookies.

We kept their reception decor simple and classy with boho touches. They provided candles and gold geometric pieces, while Whirly Girl Flowers added trailing loose greenery and farm-house pottery-inspired bud vases with luxe roses.

The bridal party bouquets were repurposed for their head table and provided a lush look.

The bride requested dried pampas grass and neutral flowers with muted pops of purple. The amnesia roses were the perfect shade to bring the vision to life.

Congratulations!
