Kali & Jacob

These lovebirds planned a sweet day together with their families near the Bighorn Mountains. With portraits in Story, WY and their wedding + reception at The Barn in Big Horn.

Full of classic white details, soft champagne tones and crisp black suits, it was perfectly romantic with a rustic chic twist.

The bride’s stunning Rish dress from Alta Moda Bridal in Salt Lake City was the perfect fit for their July wedding.

The wedding attendants wore Birdy Grey in champagne to compliment the groom’s tie.

Wyoming wedding photographer, Kaylie Sirek captured all the details and love.

Congratulations!

The Afterparty - A Late Summer Celebration

These two lovebirds planned an intimate and private elopement at Eaton’s Ranch in May and followed up with a blowout weekend of celebrating with all their friends and family at the end of summer. Two Sweet Sparrows of Asheville, NC planned and coordinated all the events.

The weekend started with a welcome party at the Barn in Big Horn under a white tent with games on the lawn. We provided simple and sweet end-of-summer-themed bud vases in warm colors throughout the space.

The party continued with a bash at the Big Horn Equestrian Center, complete with catering by Terra’s Craft Kitchen/Shabby Shack and a rocking live band from Denver. Powder River Party Rentals provided the goods, and Rachel McIntosh Photography captured all the details.

May Elopement Magic

We collected and reused these little beauties for the party at the Big Horn Equestrian Center the next day. We created long and richly colored wooden boxes for their tented dinner area using lush roses, bright delphinium, mixed greenery, and textured flowers to accent. These were paired with LED tea lights in our vintage mixed mercury glass votives. The cocktail and patio tables hosted coordinating flowers in bud vases and ceramic tumblers in clusters.

Congratulations! and thank you for choosing Whirly Girl Flowers for your celebration(s)!!

Wildflowers in June

After meeting and falling in love while working at the HF Bar Ranch, these lovebirds planned a laidback, boho-western destination wedding near Sheridan, WY from their home in Oregon.

Their intimate ceremony took place at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan, WY followed by a reception at the Barn in Big Horn.

The bridal party wore sage green dresses and slate grey coats with blue jeans for the wedding. Inspired by the natural beauty of Wyoming wildflowers, we planned wild bouquets with vivid color and lots of texture were perfect July wedding colors.

Sarah is a talented leather artist and made her own custom bouquet wrap featuring her favorite flowers and initials. It was the perfect finish for her wildflower-inspired bouquet.

Captured by Sheridan, WY wedding photographer Jessica from Wandering J Photography.

While her bouquet was inspired but the natural beauty of Wyoming wildflowers, we aren’t able to use actual wildflowers. Instead, we use this vision to influence our flower choices like asters, campanula, sweet-william, queen anne’s lace, rosemary, Craspedia, and grasses.
