When planning a June wedding in Wyoming you risk all types of weather. It could be blustery, wet, and maybe even snow. Or, as we experienced for Delaney and Kalvin - the sun could be scorching hot with the wind blowing like a furnace. When I pulled onto the ranch for their wedding, my car read 102*.
Like most couples getting married in 2020, the plans changed for their wedding. Instead of the large gathering with family and friends from across the country at the family ranch where they met, these two decided to keep their wedding date and pare back the guestlist for a micro wedding on their family ranch.
We pivoted to an intimate ceremony overlooking the vast Wyoming prairie with the Big Horn Mountains in the distance but kept the lush garden roses and peonies from our original plan. The weekend was coordinated by Ashley Marie Weddings, Catered by Bonafide Food, and captured by Nate Griffin of Nashville, TN.
