Ranunculus Club 2026!
When the pandemic started in March 2020, a friend asked if I might have flowers on hand anytime soon. Without a wedding on the calendar, we hatched a plan to split a case of ranunculus and offer the extras to friends in the community. And WOW. Sheridan flower lovers showed up. I bundled up thousands of stems for everyone to enjoy at home. You supported my little business and the farms that grow the flowers we love.
These ruffled beauties were such a hit that I decided we should make an official club in 2021, and here we are. Click the button below for all the details & dates!
Ranunculus Care:
Never leave me in your car (just like babies and dogs)
Stems will do best with a fresh cut (SHARP knife or scissors) and clean, cool water
Change water daily for best results, and avoid direct sunlight that will encourage bacteria growth.
A note on wobbly stems: These flowers are some of the toughest and longest-lasting you can enjoy, but their necks can be fragile. Provide support with a vase, and if the worst happens and their heads tip over, cut them short and place them into a shot glass or tiny bottle or vase. I’ve had blooms with an inch worth of stem for nearly 2 weeks on my nightstand. You can also provide internal stem support by inserting a pipe cleaner before placing in water.
