Valentine's Day flowers for Sheridan

Meet the Ranunculus Club

Seven years ago, I brought a few bunches of ranunculus to my very first pop-up and 💥💃🏻! A love affair I never saw coming started in Sheridan, Wyoming. During the pandemic, a friend asked if I could get flowers, and before we knew it, I started a thing. Every spring, I source the best ranunculus I can find (USA-grown when possible), and that love affair with ranunculus continues.

The Details:

  • Review the schedule (see below)

  • Pick your dates and # of bunches

  • Prepay via Venmo or Quickbooks invoice

  • Pickup at my Sheridan Studio

  • Colors are first-come, first-served

I send out reminders to those who are signed up each week with pickup details and instructions. Each bunch comes from the farm and usually has 10 stems. They’re wrapped and ready to brighten your home or office. You can leave them as a large bunch in a vase or spread them out in several bud vases around the house - my personal favorite with a few for my bedside, bathroom counter, and desk.

This year, we’re kicking off the club with a very special Galentine’s event at Wyld Adventures with a group of incredible creatives. You can pick up your bunch of ranunculus (pre-order to guarantee availability), enjoy a BYOB, and browse all the goodies. You find thoughtfully sourced plants from the Green Buffalo and hand-crafted jewelry from B.Butterfield Metalworks, along with so many others. You can find all the details here and let us know you’re coming here.

Do you still have questions? I’m all ears, let’s chat! The only thing I love more than flowers is TALKING about flowers. Don’t be shy. 🥰😘😘 Want to join my favorite club?

Ranunculus Club

When the pandemic started in March 2020, a friend asked if I might have flowers on hand anytime soon. Without a wedding on the calendar, we hatched a plan to split a case of ranunculus and offer the extras to you. And WOW. Sheridan flower lovers showed up. I bundled up thousands of stems for you last year to enjoy at home. You supported my little business and the farms that grow the flowers we love.

These ruffled beauties were such a hit I decided we should make an official club in 2021 and here we are. Starting March 5, flowers will come to town every other week for five weeks ending on April 30th, just in time for May Day. Pick one week or all five and join the club today for $30/week. Sign up now! Those who sign up before February 26 lock in pricing regardless of market increases.

A Vineyard Wedding at Lake Chelan in Navy

When Christina contacted me about her September wedding at Karma Vineyards overlooking Lake Chelan in Washington, I couldn’t wait to start planning. She wanted their wedding to be glamorous with the ladies in navy gowns and the men in classic black suits. Her vision included long tables with fluffy white flowers and minimal greenery spread under the bistro lights during their ceremony.

We used loads of white hydrangea, roses, ranunculus, and lisianthus to pull off this polished look along with dozens of candles.

Surrounded by their families and treasured friends, they said, ‘I do’ on a bluff overlooking the lake and followed with a party under the lights in the vineyard. The entire evening was magical.

Congratulations!!!

Did you know I’m available for travel to destinations outside of Wyoming for your wedding? I have a soft spot for this part of Washington (Wenatchee, Chelan, Leavenworth) and would love to bring the flower magic for your big day. I have access to a gorgeous studio for flower making and am an expert at planning long distance. Planning a Washington Wedding and wanting Whirly Girl Flowers to be there? Let’s chat.

A Brinton Wedding in Burgundy

These lovebirds planned a Wyoming destination wedding at The Brinton Museum from their home in Texas. Through a series of emails and calls, we planned the perfect florals to go along with the romantic and fun vision for their wedding day. With burgundy dahlias, a September staple, pops of peach and accented with blue, their flowers fit the bill. Their day was perfectly captured by Ft. Collins Photographer, Dyann Diercks.

The Brinton is a personal favorite for local venues. From the old farm house with expansive lawns, beautiful gardens and towering mature trees (a favorite for outdoor ceremonies) to the clean modern lines inside the museum and sweeping vistas of prairie and the Big Horn Mountains near the tent- it has a bit of everything.

Carly and Ben shared a sweet first look on the lawn before the ceremony. This is always a personal favorite and his reaction to the first glimpse of his bride is priceless.

Their friends and family traveled from far and wide to celebrate with them here in Sheridan. I think we’d all agree life is better surrounded by those we love and sharing big moments together is even better.

For their reception, I helped them plan and coordinate some DIY centerpieces. They picked a varied set of amber bud vases and bottles to use alongside votive candles. I provided the flower planning, tools and a few instructions and they made some stunning and simple centerpieces. This is a fantastic option for flower enthusiast with a large guest list and moderate budget who have a few helping hands to put it all together.

No post would be complete without a few shots of the bouquet in all it’s glory. I was so thankful for full creative freedom to use the best of the season and make something just for her. This one featured dahlias, peach roses (Shimmer), blue thistle, ranunculus, foxglove and mixed eucalyptus.

Congratulations!
