Sage & Blush Wedding in June

The Afterparty - A Late Summer Celebration

These two lovebirds planned an intimate and private elopement at Eaton’s Ranch in May and followed up with a blowout weekend of celebrating with all their friends and family at the end of summer. Two Sweet Sparrows of Asheville, NC planned and coordinated all the events.

The weekend started with a welcome party at the Barn in Big Horn under a white tent with games on the lawn. We provided simple and sweet end-of-summer-themed bud vases in warm colors throughout the space.

The party continued with a bash at the Big Horn Equestrian Center, complete with catering by Terra’s Craft Kitchen/Shabby Shack and a rocking live band from Denver. Powder River Party Rentals provided the goods, and Rachel McIntosh Photography captured all the details.

May Elopement Magic

We collected and reused these little beauties for the party at the Big Horn Equestrian Center the next day. We created long and richly colored wooden boxes for their tented dinner area using lush roses, bright delphinium, mixed greenery, and textured flowers to accent. These were paired with LED tea lights in our vintage mixed mercury glass votives. The cocktail and patio tables hosted coordinating flowers in bud vases and ceramic tumblers in clusters.

Congratulations! and thank you for choosing Whirly Girl Flowers for your celebration(s)!!

A Sunflower Wedding in White and Yellow

Cheery ~ Western-y ~ Bright

When a horse trainer calls for a vet to doctor some sick calves, it’s a love story for the books.

Rebecca and Brandt chose to say I do below the Bighorn Mountains at the Big Horn Equestrian Center near his childhood home, and their day was full of dramatic weather and the biggest smiles.

Forever West Weddings & Events coordinated an incredible group of vendors for this couple from California to make their destination wedding dreams come true.

Wyoming wedding photographer Cassie Madden captured everything from getting ready to smiles in the rain.

The groom and his men wore a classic western Canadian tuxedo and their cowboy hats with boots. The bride found her perfect dress at Miosa Bridal, a shop in Folsom, CA, and her ladies wore pale blue knee-length dresses.

The bride’s love of sunflowers directed our vision for the day and her flowers. We included locally grown Ox Eye Sunflowers (Heliopsis helianthoides) and white cosmos for a delicate, light feeling with plenty of movement.

They originally planned an outdoor ceremony on the expansive polo fields under an arch from Powder River Party Rentals with flowers and some calf roping pieces. Ultimately, the rain called for a change of plans, but we love these shots captured beforehand. The hanging arrangements did double duty for the day and were used as centerpieces under the tent for their reception.

The Cake Chic - Jaci Schmidt created custom cookies for each guest and a three-layer cake with a custom topper. The team from Shabby Shack crafted a beautiful meal and place settings under the tent for their reception.

Congratulations!

A Boho Wedding in Rust & Jewel Tones

Intimate ~ Beautiful ~ Fun

These sweethearts planned an epic party at the Big Horn Equestrian Center near Sheridan, WY, for their June wedding with all their friends. We combined fresh and dried elements for their wedding flowers, full of boho-inspired warm jewel tones in rust, mustard, mauve, and emerald green.

She wore an incredible dress by Luce Sposa - The Elvis Dress with the most airy details. The bridal party wore a collection of mixed dresses from Baltic Born, and the men sported fresh, light-colored suits.

Our snow-topped Big Horn Mountains put on a show for their wedding day, and I love every image and detailed captured by Wyoming wedding photographer Kaylie Sirek.

The bridal parties stayed in luxurious rentals at The Powder Horn. They provided plenty of space and great locations for getting ready photos and are just a short drive from their wedding and reception venue at the Big Horn Equestrian Center in Big Horn, WY.

I created a garden-style bouquet in muted tones of rust, mauve, mustard, and emerald with garden roses, ruffled carnations, deep green foliage, and dried pampas grass.

A bride wearing a Luce Spoza dress for her June wedding in Sheridan wyoming carries a bouquet in rust and mauve tones created by Wyoming florist whirly girl flowers.

Their ceremony took place on the polo fields under a hexagon arch with x-back chairs from Powder River Party Rentals. I created an asymmetrical floral piece in their muted jewel-tones with dried palm fronds and pampas grass to frame the space.

We had a combination design for their reception with long and low centerpieces in wooden boxes on long tables paired with rust or emerald-colored table runners and some DIY dried bud vases on their round tables. They included some antler sheds and loose greenery for a faux garland effect.

They partied the night away under the lights over the patio and ate Sheridan’s best pie from Hetty’s Pizza.

Congratulations
