A Thursday Wedding

I met Lindsey shortly after moving to Sheridan four years ago and trusted my pixie head to her capable hands at Philosophy Hair Studio. She’s kept my signature look sharp since then and we’ve built a friendship over regular haircuts, holiday dinners, birthday celebrations and evenings around the campfire with a beer and our guys.

She and Beau decided to host a private ceremony on a Thursday evening surrounded by their families and a small party with friends at the Barn in Big Horn to celebrate their marriage. Bonafide brought the love with an epic taco bar and Liz Osban captured every moment. Making flowers for dear friends is an honor and this was no exception. She requested classic white with pops of her absolutely favorite orange and yellow accents in her bouquet. Playing with textures and colors is my favorite and this bouquet is no exception.

We love you two and can’t wait for more nights with drippy tacos and drinks around the fire.

Congratulations dear friends!

Planning a Wyoming wedding in Sheridan or the greater Big Horn Mountain area? Let’s chat. I can’t wait to dream up your perfect wedding flowers that reflect your personality and the joy of marrying your love.

Red & Black - breaking the mold

Styled shoots are a chance to play with creative friends and work outside the typical wedding box. Each year I choose a few select opportunities to to add flower magic to and stretch some creative muscle. When Braidyn Looper approached me about joining a creative team to provide a bouquet and boutonniere pair for this shoot featuring a black wedding ensemble I jumped at the chance.

Using my favorite greenery textures of eucalyptus and leucothoe as a base filled out with sumac, poppies that pop, the perfect neutral carnations and killer red ranunculus. Tell me - who wants to rock a dress that isn’t white for their wedding?

PS - this was shot in late March before everything was green here in Wyoming. However - flower favorites are off the hook this time of year and the colors make a striking contrast to the still brown countryside. Things like ranunculus, anemones and poppies are so incredible. More March weddings please!

A Brightly Colored Polo Club Wedding

2018 was a year full of varied color palette - such a treat! Unlike past years with back to back repeating themes, no two weekends were alike. Jake and Tiffany choose a bright color scheme with hot pink and orange highlighted with purple for their wedding and reception at the Big Horn Equestrian Center. I used a few types of roses and spray roses along with purple clematis nestled into a variety of eucalyptus.
