Introducing: Tiny Wedding Flower Packages!

From the day I started Whirly Girl Flowers I’ve been asked about packages and pricing. I’ve always resisted standard packages as each couple and event is unique and it’s hard to have a one-size-fits-all offering for flowers. Ultimately, I want to make flower magic for fellow flower lovers. I want to make flower dreams come true and bring flowers to events, even if they’re small. After so much resistance, it’s finally here (but completely customizable).

This package starts at $995 and comes with the season’s best flowers and is influenced by your chosen color palette and style for the day. It’s the no-fuss answer for those with modest budgets and trusts in my design skills to bring a dream to life. Whether you’re planning a traditional wedding and want flowers for your bridal party or you’re planning a micro wedding in the Sheridan area, this is a great option.

To start: a bouquet for the bride and a coordinating boutonnière (or flower pocket sq)

Choose your own adventure for the rest, pick one of the following!

• Bridal party flowers for 1-4 attendants each - includes bouquets for 1-4 attendants and boutonnières to match. Smaller parties = bigger bouquets or the option to add another item (like ceremony flowers or bulk DIY greenery)

  OR

• Ceremony flowers - planning to have an arch or arbor for your ceremony? Let’s add flowers! Want a ground meadow? or large pieces for barrel toppers? So many options for your event.

  OR

• Reception flowers - 3-5 ready-to-go centerpieces, Lush and full, beautiful, and ready to party. Simply set and go! More guests and a handful of helpers? Maybe the DIY flower option is more your style. Receive flowers for up to 15 DIY tables for simple styling in bud vases or jars you provide.

Romantic Ranch Styled Shoot

Transporting the essence of a wild west elopement into a styled shoot, I planned this creative day with friend and fellow wedding vendor Mandy of MC Picture Co. We curated a breathtaking elopement shoot on her family ranch that seamlessly blended rugged romance with refined elegance.

The groom epitomized Western charm, donning a burgundy velvet jacket complemented by a classic black cowboy hat. Adding a touch of rustic elegance, the bride graced the scene in a reclaimed vintage dress, a testament to sustainability. She completed her look with vibrant red boots, infusing a bold and adventurous flair into her ensemble.

The floral arrangements, featuring delicate sweetpeas and exotic Anthurium, complemented the untamed setting, creating a visual feast for the eyes. This styled shoot celebrated love against the rugged backdrop of Wyoming and embraced sustainable fashion, making it a unique and unforgettable Wild West-inspired elopement.

A Brinton Museum Elopement - Styled Shoot

Any chance to flower with friends at a favorite venue is a dream. When Ashley called to see if I wanted to play and create for the 2021 Wyoming edition of Rocky Mountain Bride - I jumped at the opportunity.

We chose to play off of the natural colors at The Brinton Museum and the rammed earth wall that anchors the space with pops of blue and white.

I used tweedia, spirea, and panda anemones along with orange butterfly ranunculus, delphinium, and other textural elements to create a lush and wild centerpiece for their elopement dinner table and a Spring inspired bridal bouquet.

The weather was wet and windy the day of our shoot and instead of setting up outside as planned, we made a cozy spot near the Bistro upstairs and made the most of it.

Mother’s Day = Flowers, usually. With ongoing global flower shortages and preparing for my busiest wedding season ever, I decided to treat myself to a weekend off with my family and did not order flowers for 2021. So sorry to disappoint all you Whirly Girl Flower fans who’ve supported me so much over these last few years!

A Powder Horn Wedding in Sage & Pink

Jessen and Randy live in the big city but have a love for Sheridan, WY, and the Big Horns. They several times a year to relax and recharge so it only made sense to plan their destination wedding at the Powder Horn where they spend perfect summer days golfing together. Despite the challenges of planning and hosting an event during the pandemic, they had a relaxed and fun day together with the people they love and became Mr and Mrs under towering trees on a warm August afternoon.

I got to work with the Sheridan Vendor dream team for this event and am so grateful for the collaboration!

Jessen asked for a wild and full floral piece to surround a large elk rack attached to their arbor. I filled it with eucalyptus, blush larkspur, and roses. In my pursuit of more sustainable floristry practices, I built an armature of chicken wire filled with discarded leaves to anchor the flowers on the arch. It was nearly 100* while I was setting up the flowers which is always difficult and concerning with a fresh product and no water source. They all got a good misting and final spray before I left and they held up perfectly for the ceremony.

They hosted an outdoor reception on a tented patio, combining more rustic elements of birch centerpieces filled with roses in ivory and blush with rose-gold glamour in table mirrors and votives.
